Plan the space you will actually use

Sketch the furniture and leave routes between the house and garden. A large glazed area is appealing, but the position of doors and the shape of the floor plan determine where a table or sofa can go.

Consider daylight alongside the roof

Compare roof designs with the direction the room faces and the light reaching adjacent rooms. Discuss glazing and solid roof options with the whole layout in view.

Compare a complete room quotation

Check the base, frame, roof, glazing, doors and finishing work. Discuss any property restrictions and the installation scope before deciding. A conservatory should be chosen for your needs; a future sale price or a particular energy saving cannot be promised from a design alone.
